Myriam and I don’t really believe in the “I will start this thing as an NYE resolution”, or “I will start this next Monday” …
Everyday can be a start day.
Everyday is a new chance for you to do something and can be the start of something new.
If you really want to do something and if it’s possible to do it now go for it.
Don’t use “NYE resolutions” as an excuse to postpone what you want to do. What is the point of doing that?
What we can understand though is that sometimes you want to try so many differents things and end up doing none just by lack of time. In this kind of situation you need to prioritze and be organized. Make a list of everything you would like to do and most importantly put a deadline to them. When we say deadline we are talking about SMART deadlines. A deadline that you know you can stick with.
Why a SMART deadline is important?
Myriam and I always wanted to try new stuff but always ended up postponing them because of a “lack of time”. We talked about it and we decided to put a deadline on our goals because this is the way we work. With deadlines. It might not be a good solution for you but it does work for us. This is the way we work in general, with very tight deadlines. Tight but S.M.A.R.T deadline.
S.M.A.R.T Stands for :
S : Specific
M: Measurable
A: Attainable
R: Relevant
T: Time-Bound
Bear in mind that regarding your goals you don’t need to put a tight deadline alright?
So, here is our list of things that we would like to do before the end of the year (covid friendly). We will keep you updated on those of course :
Sophia :
- Boxing training
- Improving my Spanish
- Baking and cooking healthier
- learning how to paint
- Dancing
Myriam:

- Finish my new armor cosplay
So guys… would you like to join our challenges? What would you like to start doing? Let’s all work on it together 🙂
You can do it !
And always remember, “Be confident, Be you”
Lots of Love,
Sophia and Myriam
