We are two sisters, Sophia (London Girl), Myriam (Montpellier Girl), young professionals.

Why « Being Confident »?

We had the idea of this blog after lots of talks about how to gain confidence, how to evolve in a society who unfortunately doesn’t really put you in a mindset to do it.

We strongly think that being confident is the key to be happy.

During our lifes, especially while we are teenagers, our confidence is put in danger. It’s so easy to think that we are not good enough, not worth it …

We want to do this blog to remind you that you are worth it and you can gain confidence. We want to give you tips on how to do it, how we have gained confidence and how we still work on it every day.

Here we will talk about everything, what we love, what we hate, what we do.

But most importantly we want this blog to be a safe place for you to express yourself.
So please, don’t hesitate to comment on our articles, we will be more than happy to talk with you!

So know it’s time to know us more individually, we decided to write each other presentation (because it’s more real this way haha)

Myriam, my little sister, StarWars fan and super geek…

Mimi is the clown of our family, she is the “go-to” person when you feel sad. She knows how to make people laugh which is awesome.

Even if she is younger than me, I often go to her for advice or to ask for her opinions. She knows how to reflect on things, let you know how to see things from a different angle and most importantly she always reminds you not to be too hard on yourself.

She is a very strong woman (Oh la la it’s quite hard for me to say “woman” while talking about my baby sister, but yeah she is 23 now, so she is definitely not a baby anymore…), she is a hard worker, never complains and she is not scared about sharing her opinion (either you like it or not! haha)

I am so lucky to have someone like her in my life (even if she can sometimes be annoying …)

(Love you petite tête)

Sophia is a strong woman, always ready to help those who she loves, grouchy and full of attention (good or bad depending on the person who stands in front of her….  Oops !).

Sometimes, her shortcomings and her qualities make me want to strangle/cuddle her.

She’s a big fan of Harry Potter (pyjamas, slippers, mugs, bags, t-shirt and it’s a non-exhaustive list).

Over time and after some hard work on herself, she now knows how to appreciate herself and she successfully overcomes major obstacles but she still thinks that she’s a princess.

We both have common passion, ambition and perfectionism. ♥
